Was yesterday's 211 - 186 All Star game a defensive farce or what?  The pundits are thinking out loud 'how do we solve this problem?'  My suggestion is to pay each player on the winning side $1M for the win AND $25k for each point in the margin of victory...this should result in some good defense being played.

The Spanish word "Carreras" loosely translates as "Racers."  It is also widely use in Germany and in the USA.

WHY THE NAME?

THREE GOOD REASONS:

1. We Angelenos love racing up and down our freeways (figuratively); always have, always will!

2. We're the unofficial freeway and car capitol of the USA!

​3. Plus, it's just a very cool & chill name for a basketball team that calls Los Angeles its home!
